Steenstra Renovation: We're Home. Happy Birthday House!

SethAnne Studios designed a functional yet beautiful renovation for our house. We live in a 1910 bungalow that was a cozy 1200 sq feet/now cozy 1700-1800. We love our house, the location and our neighborhood but we need more functional space and separate bedrooms for the kids. We expanded the first floor to include: new BA, master BR, family room/gathering space, kitchen, mud area. Our Design/Build firm has 2 wonderful clients - an architect and project manager. Fun, fun!

New siding & windows - looks great!

East side of the house was finished with wood siding to match the original house. The addition section is finished in hardiplank (cement) siding. The addition will probably be several shades more yellow.
